Sarratt and Scott win Gambler Beaver Lake Tournament
Strong winds and thunderstorms did not stop Sarratt and Scott from catching a big bag of smallmouth which anchored their 13.19 stringer of bass. Sarratt and Scott also had the big bass for the tournament a 3.87 pd smallmouth. Numerous teams weighed in quality smallmouth, spotted, and largemouth bass. Most anglers reported catching bass on Giggy Head with Sweebo worms, Ninja Jigs with Saphire Blue Flappy Daddy trailers, and Gambler Aces in green pumpkin. The majority of teams had a 8 pd limit of bass.

Bob Woods wins FLW Series on Gambler Custom Cranks and Sweebo’s
Bob Wood caught a 3 lber as time ran out on the last day of competition to win the $20,000 and the FLW Series on Okeechobee. The winning weight was just over 34lbs. Bob credits his win to the Custom Crank and the Sweebo. Check out the story at FLW Outdoors
Huls and Beaty win Gambler Lures Kissimmee Tournament
With over 160 boats fishing the Gambler Lures No Entry Fee Tournament the competition was stiff with many great teams fishing. John Huls and Bob Beaty ended up on top with 24.5 lbs. 2nd Place went to Ralph Litton and Sam Gearde with 20 lbs. The 3rd place team of David Gazdak and Steven Gazdak weighed in 17.2. Edwin Kimbrough and Joy Kimbrough weighed 15.55 for 4th. Gary Paul and Linda Paul took 5th with 14.65. A 9 lber took big fish weighed by Dave Ochs and Donald Gregornik. Anglers reported catching fish on Ace’s, 10" Ribbon Tails, Flappy Daddy’s, and Sweebo Worms.

Velvick and Phillips finish 1st and 2nd at BASS Wild Card with Gambler - Meyers wraps up 10th
The recent BASS Elite Wild Card tournament showcased several Gambler baits that these two pros used to earn their birth into next years BASS Elite Series. With their careers on the line Gambler got it done. Byron used the new Gambler SwimHead (available now) teamed with a 10" Gambler Ribbon Tail for his kicker fish. When not using that combination he switched to the Gambler Sweebo. Keith followed a similar pattern catching the majority of his fish on a Giggy Head and Sweebo. And then following that up with the SwimHead and the 10" Ribbon Tail. Bobby Meyers took the final 10th spot place throwing Giggy Snakes and Giggy Sticks.

Gambler Lures will host it’s no entry fee tournament out of Camp Mack on Saturday February 2, 2008. Guaranteed payback of $1000, $500, and $250 3rd - 5th.

Gambler comes up big at the Stren Championship - Mobile
Check out the results of the Stren Championship and you’ll see Gambler Lures had a major role in top finishes. 1st place finisher Mike Jackson credits the Crawdaddy as a key part of his win worth $50,000 and a new boat. David Curtis wrapped up third and $35,000 using the Giggy Head. And on the co angler side Bo Middleton wrapped up 3rd place and won a new boat using the Giggy Head. Bo credits much of his success this year to the Giggy “It worked for me on Lake Amistad, Sam Rayburn and Texoma,”
Rick Carter records Giggy Head record
Lake Fork guide Rick Carter caught the largest fish to date that we have heard of on the Giggy Head. Rick weighed in his monster fish at 11.5 lbs. If you have caught one bigger we would like to know. Bo Middleton wins Texoma Stren
Bo Middleton used the Gambler Giggy Head on Lake Texoma to weigh in 36 pounds of fish and take first place. Bo lead the event for all four days. We congatulate him on an excellent tournament. Check out the Giggy Head here
Jason Quinn takes 2nd at BASS Major on Dardanelle
The month started off with Clark Wendlandt and Mike Surman finishing 3rd and 4th in Arkansas and it ends with Jason Quinn finishing 2nd in the last BASS Major of the year. Jason flipped a black and blue jig and a Gambler Flappy Daddy chunk in Bluegrass. Jason’s final two day weight came in at 29-05, good enough for $33,500 and big fish day 3 of the tournament.
Buss and Strebel win Shawano Lake Gambler Tournament
Adam Buss and Jason Strebel weighed 14.14 to take home $1000 plus another $660 for their 4.64 big fish. The winning stringer was caught on the Ninja Jig with a BB Cricket Trailer. Darren Lauterbach and Robin Mill threw Ace’s to catch 14.10 good enough for second. Coming in third were Alan Meckalski and Josh Garber with 13.9 caught on Cane Toads. Quite a variety of baits seemed to be working. Turns out these northern bass like Gambler Baits too.

Chris Lane and the Cricket take 5th at Elite Potomac
Chris Lane concentrated on flipping green mats on the Potomac. Chris had a lot of pressure in his main area and believes the BB Crickets ability to penetrate thick cover and reach areas others could not was a main factor in his success.

The FLW Championship at Lake Ouachita was an excellent showcase for a few of Gambler’s top baits. Clark Wendlandt and Mike Surman took third and fourth on the strength of our 10" Ribbon Tail. Mike threw Red Bug and Clark threw a custom color called Bill’s Blood, available at Trader Bills in Hot Springs, AR. Matt Arey took 8th by flipping the Flappy Daddy and drop shotting the Giggy Stick.

Milano and Truax win Gambler Ohio Tournament
Mark Milano and Todd Truax weighed in 8.12 to win the first Gambler Tournament in Ohio. Less than one pound separated the top 6 boats in an extremely tight tournament. Primary baits used were jigs, Giggy Heads and Giggy Sticks, and Tubes. Big fish went to Chad Tylicki and David Bohrer caught on a Custom Crank. John Garvin and John Coffee finished second followed by Donnie and David Maggard in third. We look forward to seeing everybody again next year.

Okeechobee and Kissimmee BFL won on Gambler
Billy Bowen won the Gator Division BFL swimming Cane Toads through the pads. Billy’s five fish limit weighed in at 24-14. Val Osinski won the Everglades Division BFL throwing the new Custom Crank from Gambler in Splattered Horton and a 10" Ribbon Tail. Val’s winning weight of 5 fish came in at 27-3.
Forssell and Salyer win Gambler Holiday Park Tournament
Steve Forssell and Rod Salyer weighed 27 lbs to capture the Gambler Lures Tournament and $1000. Steve and Rod caught their fish on Crawdaddies and Jigs. Mike Jones and Tennessee were second with just over 25 lbs caught on the new Gambler Custom Crankbait. Third place, 24 lbs and big fish, 8.5 lbs went to John Pate and JP McKay all caught on Cane Toads. Click here for results.

Nick Tinsley and Chris Gayton win Lake Lanier Gambler Lures Tournament
Nick and Chris weighed in 18.33 to win the Gambler Lures Lake Lanier Tournament. Nick and Chris caught the majority of their fish on the Giggy Head and Little Otter. Jimmy and Matt Trotter placed second with 18.13 caught on Giggy Heads and Giggy Snakes. Click here for full results

Greg Pugh takes home Stren Seminole win thanks to the Ugly and Little Otter
Before this tournament started Greg came up to me and said he was on a flipping bite and needed some more Otters. I should have listened to him before handing over all the Otters in my boat. Greg proceeded to catch over 53 lbs of fish under tough conditions to take home $25,000 and a new Ranger Boat. Greg focused on flipping hyacinth mats.

Brad Pegram took home the Stren Co-angler title at Seminole partly in thanks to the 6-08 largemouth he caught on the final day flipping the Gambler BB Cricket

Ron Fabiszak wins Okeechobee FLW with Gambler
Ron moved from 24th to 2nd on the strength of a five fish limit caught on the Gambler Ace. On the final day Ron caught his two best fish on the Cane Toad and took home the $25,000 check.

Roland Smith wins Toho BFL on Gambler 10" Ribbon Tail
Roland sight fished his way to a fish limit weighing 17 lbs 9 ounces to claim his first BFL win. Roland let us know that he caught all his fish on the Gambler 10" Ribbon Tail.
Mark Philips catches an 8-13 on the Loco Lizard
FLW Series Angler Mark Philips catches and 8-13 on the Gambler Loco Lizard to hold down 3rd place on the opening day of the FLW Series Event on Lake Okeechobee.
Chuck Webb wins with Gambler
Chuck Webb wins Stren Co-Angler division on Okeechobee fishing a Gambler 10" Ribbon Tail in June Bug. Chuck caught his limit the final day in Pelican Bay. Chuck’s four day total of 35 lbs 3 ounces was good enough for $5,000 and a brand new Ranger boat.
